If Henry Ford can do it, so can you!

I was thinking about horse transportation recently.  What started me thinking about it is that Elizabeth has been busy organizing the transport for Elektra, a young two and a half year old Freiberger filly from Switzerland.  She arrived here yesterday, young and excited and very inexperienced. She will be Emily’s next horse in a few years time when I’m too old to be ridden any more, or when Emily is too big to ride me. Whichever comes first!

Now I’m setting my mind to teaching Elektra how to be the best horse she can be for Emily and the rest of the family. Elizabeth will do her bit too, I’m sure.  She will make it her clear  intention and give it her clear attention in order to get clear results.

However, I was thinking about the amazing development in vehicles used now-a-days for transporting horses. We used to pull the vehicles around, now the vehicles transport us instead! Who would have thought it! All because people like Henry Ford and others of his time had a dream and didn’t give up on their dream to create something new.  From the realization of those dreams, we now have the amazing horse transportation that is around today.

Ford believed in himself and in his dream. Elizabeth believes in Elektra and her ability to become as good a horse for Emily as I am.  She wants to achieve this, and she believes in her ability to do it.

She doesn’t think about why she can’t do it – she thinks about why she can! And if she can do it, and so many other people can do it, then so can you.   Think about why you can – not why you cannot.

When you do think more about why you can instead of why you cannot, you begin to believe that you can achieve your goals. You start to see that your life will improve. Believing in yourself is the start of living the life that you want for yourself.

You will start to attract people and situations into your life who will help you realize your goals.

How can this happen?

Because if you believe in yourself and believe that you can accomplish what you want out of life you will start directing your subconscious thoughts to make  choices and decisions better suited to achieving your goals. Do not listen to reasons your mind gives you for not achieving your particular goals, whatever they might be for you.

Do not listen to the naysayers – whether from other people or from yourself.
Think of becoming better and NOT settling for 2nd or 3rd best! Think about why you can achieve and not why you think you cannot achieve.

Ford and the others didn’t lose faith in themselves. Elizabeth won’t with Elektra.

Now it’s your turn.

Enjoy your ride!

Lucy

Hi Lucy, you are right in your positive attitude. I have a filly the same age as Electra. Ibred her and she has been allowed to be a horse but shown clear boundaries from the beginning. She is the willing partner I expected her to be and can be ridden alone or in company. I am sure that Elizabeth will have similar results with Electra and she will make Emily a great horse for the future but don’t forget you were her first horse and will always be special.

I wish you fun with the teaching with Elektra !

Thankyou Sue I know Lucy is the best horse in the world.
